Thank you all for your generous support for the great cause .Team have managed to raise in excess of $45,000 so far
We are hopping to exceed $50,000 by the end of day today
I understand that this will cover the full cost of furnishing 20 new affordable 2 bedroom units with whitegoods. These units are being built to house families and people who are in housing stress, either homeless or at severe risk at Vinnies
For those who are early bird ABC will broadcast from the Sleepout site tomorrow from 6.15 am on 105.7

Just two more days to go until the 2010 Vinnies CEO Sleepout! On Thursday 17 June 2010 675 CEOs and Business Leaders will sleep rough in capital cities across Australia, in a bid to experience first hand what it is like to be homeless. All money raised goes directly towards the ongoing provision of Vinnies’ homeless services across the country.

Note: Mr. Amin ISLAM is one of the pioneer Bangladeshi community member of Darwin. He is well known in Darwin for his fund raising of different nature every year. Last year he raised substantial amount for Movember http://au.movember.com/ fund raising. Unlike many of us who are doing a very good work with their involvement in community based fund raising and other activities he is an unique example of some one from first generation migrant community who is dedicatedly involved with main stream activities of these nature.
