Dr Zerin, You have been making Bangladesh, your original home country and its every citizen in Australia including us very very proud by your skills, devotion to your profession and your oneness of purpose. May the Almighty shower His choicest blessings on you and grant you a long, active and prolific life when your parents and all of us should be feeling proud, happy and satisfied beyond measure!
You are really great. You are the proud of Bangladesh. Wish your all the best.
I came across lot patients in the hospital and in the Australian community Who know Dr Rahman as life saver and praise him. It's touchy and indeed very motivational . I think Zarin Bhai deserves more than this. It's really inspires me when ther is lot of negative media coverage on overseas doctors. As we all work we know how hard is to get recognition. I would like to add some agenda to the picnic day discussion.
1. We should have some plan to broadcast this type of achievment not only in Australia media but also in our home country media. People in Bangladesh should know the story of our success. It could be any one in our society. They only know about the doctors in UK/USA but nothing re doctors in Australia. An official press release could be sent to' Basos' or anyone who has connection to media in Bangladesh.
Secondly we could involve our highcomm in our society program so that we can get support for media and recognition.
Finally we could nominate our people for various award which are available in Australia , for example Australian of the year. If we plan now we should start our ground work now for next year. We should recognize our talents and merits, it could be anyone in our society.
We should move forward our organisation as a ground soil for establisement of our achievement in this country rather than confinding it only to seminar/workshop only.
Hope it will be a great picnic day for all of our doctors/ families. I can't make it as I will be working.

We are proud of you!! Keep up good work mate!!
Best regards
Salekin
