This week's program presented part one of the coverage of the Association’s - 'Bangladesh Utshav' - held in Canberra on 15 October 2011. This year Association presented awards to distinguished Bangladeshis Professor Atique Islam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Edith Cowan University in Perth for his achievements and support to the students from Bangladesh, and two senior Canberra couples Dr. Abed Chaudhury and Ms. Tulip Chaudhury, and Mr. Ehsan Ullah and Ms. Fahmida Ehsan in recognition of their outstanding efforts and commitments to the Canberra Bangladeshi community. This week's program was jointly produced by Ajoy Kar and Syed Asif Ali, and presented by Sheikh Lana.
