Schedule of Consular Camp in Sydney from August to December 2012

This is to inform all concerned that the High Commission will organize the Consular Camps in Sydney at the new address (Parramatta Town Hall (Charles Byrne Room, Level-1), 182 Church Street Mall, Parramatta, NSW 2124) as per the following   schedule for August to December 2012:

 14,15 & 16  ( Fri,Sat & Sun)

 05,06 & 07 ( Fri,Sat & Sun)

November 2012

 16,17&18   ( Fri,Sat & Sun)

December 2012

 07,08 & 09 ( Fri,Sat & Sun)

 

Consular services will be rendered   from 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs and 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Saturdays and from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs on Sundays. All are requested to be at the camp at least half an hour ahead of the each closing time. Urgent fee, as mentioned in the following table, is charged for rendering different types of consular services at the consular camps as these are provided on the same day. The High Commission may amend the schedule as and when necessary. Therefore, it is advised to see the correct schedule at the website of the High Commission at www.bhcanberra.com. The following consular services will be available at the Consular Camp:

General attestation of documents like photocopy of Bangladesh passport, photograph, application for police clearance certificate, applications for opening a bank account in Bangladesh.

All concerned are requested to kindly visit the ‘Passport / Visa / Consular Matters’ Section of the website of the High Commission http://www.bhcanberra.com  for detailed information regarding different types of consular services, mentioned above.

 

Following consular services however will NOT be available at the consular camp:

 

(a)   Issuance of VISA other than NO VISA required seal.

(b)    Issuance of new passport in place of 10 or more years old passport

(c)   Issuance of new passport in place of lost passport. Such cases must be sent to the High Commission in Canberra fulfilling all the requirements and enclosing a self-addressed registered return envelope.

(d)   Driving Licenses verification- all are requested to send the required documents to the High Commission in Canberra. Details are given at the website.

 

All payments must be paid in the mode of Postal Money Order or Bank Cheque (not personal cheque) in favour of “Bangladesh High Commission, Canberra” as we DO NOT accept cash, credit card, eftpos or personal cheque. All consular service seekers are requested to kindly have their money order or bank cheque prepared during week days as most post offices and banks are closed on weekends. Fee for consular services of multiple applicants (e.g. members of a family) of different natures (e.g. Renewal of Passport by separate applicants) must be paid in different cheque / money order but of similar nature(renewal of passport) may be combined in one cheque / money order. The High Commission would like to Repeat that cash will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

 

The High Commission would like to request all concerned, who intend to get their consular works done at the consular camp, to have all their queries cleared by visiting the website of the High Commission http://www.bhcanberra.com (particularly the ‘Passport / Visa / Consular Matters’ Section) or sending email to consular@bhcanberra.com or calling the High Commission at Canberra on (02) 6290 0511, 6290 0522, 6290 0533)] during week days.

I want to help in settle in Adelaide.I have no friends and relatives in there. Have u any sevice for survive in specially for Adelaide?

Please contact local Bangladeshi Community members in Adelaide if you need any urgent help.

Please contact Arshad Bhuiyan( Ph - 0423 415 978), the current president of Bangladesh Association in Adelaide. He might be able to assist you. I guess Bangladesh High Commission does not help any one settling here.
