Dear Mr. Farid,
Personally I have no respect for most of our politicians whether they are in the Awami League or BNP arena. Regardless or AL or BNP regime there were political terrorism, violence, corruption and nepotism. You have written that Sheikh Hasina loves all of us because she is the daughter of the father of the nation! What a statement!
I wish that was true!!! If it was; we would not have had 'hartal' in Bangladesh; political violence like lighting bus on fire etc.
I can give many more examples like the destruction in Chittagong by Awami League in 1996. One of my aunty was killed by the students of MES College ( controlled by AL) as they needed a dead body for further violence and terrorizing people. I am sure that there are many more stories like these which can either be pointed to BNP or AL. When I see an illiterate person unable to distinguish between right and wrong between political parties, I don't blame them! However when I see our educated people misrepresenting and making biased statements the only thing I can say is- Ai Lojja rakhi khotai? Ai lojja amar apnar shobar.
Thank you
Dear Mr. Farid

Thanks for your interesting article. I fully agree with Bijoy about his views regarding the Bangladeshi politicians. To me it seems like politics is a profession or trade.
Do you really believe that Sheikh Hasina possesses innocent love for Khaleda Zia? I think she wanted Khaleda Zia to be released so that she can also escape from all the charges brought against her. They can do anything and everything for their own interest.
Regarding the people of Bangladesh - I can't understand how quickly they forget everything. in 1991 they all fought together to get rid of Ershad, where as it didn't take long for the same people to tie with him. We all know how much corrupted our political leaders are but still we want them. I can't help but recite a famous poem of Tagore here -
Shirno shanto shadhu
Tobo putroder dhore
Dao shobe griho chara
Lokkhi chara kore
Shat koti shontanere
He mughdho jononi
Rekecho bangali kore
Manush koroni.
Thanks
